Frisco scrap is new, because most of the houses are new

Frisco does not have a deep bench of 1950s copper. The metal is cutoffs from houses going up near the sports venues and along the tollway: short copper, studs, aluminum soffit, and whatever a trade left in the garage so the closing would happen. Volume is modest per house and large across a street of them.

Commercial work around the venues adds cable and temporary steel on a hard date. Household junk cars are usually a second vehicle that lost a hail fight, sitting in a three-car garage a rollback may not fit. Measure the opening before you promise a tow.
